Geared motor

For smaller cooling tower units, the use of gearmotors is more advantageous, as this saves installation space and weight.

The unit consists of a directly coupled inline gear unit with a motor. The mounting position is V1. Here, too, a robust coating is used as a standard. The common protection class is IP54 or higher on request. Motors for the EX-protection area can also be supplied.
PTC winding temperature sensors for operation with FI are provided as a standard. Matching of the existing VSD with the new motor may have to be made with regard to noise emission. As a special solution, we also offer permanent magnet motors with an integrated FI.
